SUMMER NEWS: Good and terrible news for individuals, racers and fans…I just got the word from Terry and Lex that Evergreen Speedway is heading an alternate path on Saturday, the fifth of July. Initially planned to be a “customary” night for us, alongside Hornets, Bombers and some “left finished” crashing, the hustling surface was destined to be a wreck from the huge night prior, with a frail occasion swarm build up for sure. They were as of late offered the valuable chance to advance a big deal “Super-moto” (cruiser) qualifier race for the X GAMES that end of the week all things considered. The GOOD news is that unexpectedly that I, or Doug “the Grizz” Delfel can recollect that, we figure 8 racers have the ENTIRE fourth of July weekend off! The awful news is that it was at first the main end of the week I could get our Club antiquarian, Tom Claibourn, to bring all of his cool stuff over the mountains for the FEAR43 “gathering” outing, which tragically should now be dropped. We desire to reschedule the get-together, maybe at the Nationals in August, so if you, or your support need to contribute to the occasion, just let me know! Mid-season Championship night is coming up the following week, on the 28th. It used to be a greater arrangement when we would “clean the record” and begin the point fight once again. Loads of “first half” prizes and brew drinking were a BIG piece of the Sunday excursion, while additional laps and prizes were consistently a major feature of the real evening… Good times, to be sure! A major thank you, and best of luck to Mr. Jon White, the long-term proprietor of Cascade Auto Wrecking. An “Old folk” individual from FEAR, a previous racer and supporter of so many of us throughout the long term, Jon needed to close his entryways half a month back. His logo will stay on our support connect list so individuals and companions can remain refreshed with respect to the fate of Cascade. Following a month of 0 reactions, I am finishing off the classifieds part of our site.
